The hands-on courses allow the participants to refresh their knowledge of sinonasal surgical anatomy by performing various endoscopic endonasal procedures on fresh anatomical specimens.
Attendees will perform a step-by-step dissection with the techniques illustrated in the course, under the guidance of the skilful and attentive Tutor. Objectives of the courses are: to acquire a solid and detailed anatomical knowledge of the sinonasal area, to be able to perform a logical sequence of safe endonasal procedures, to understand in details about immediate complications and the way to prevent them, and to learn how to tackle immediate and late complications.

Basic course

The basic hands-on course is dedicated to all ENT surgeons who would like to enter the world of endonasal endoscopic surgery, or those who are already in it and would like to improve their surgical ability. The course is focused on surgical anatomy of the nose and paranasal sinuses, which will give participants a better recognition of the key landmarks in performing a safe and effective functional sinonasal sinus surgery (FESS). All lectures will be combined with a movie-guided step-by-step dissection during which every participant will be personally guided by an experienced Tutor.
